Composition Skills
In this collaborative session, participants are divided into smaller groups that are guided by Artist Director Robert Oetomo. The basic principles and essential skills required to compose music are introduced by way of engaging, fun, practical group activities that emphasise a playing-based approach. Together, participants create a chamber music work featuring the marimba, which they then perform in the Gala Concert.
